In Bulle, Switzerland, an astonishing and original invitation to travel, to dream of faraway lands. Escape for a meal.

Young Vaud artist Luna Ribes designs interior decorations of the new LE GLOBE restaurant in Bulle, launched by Bernard Sottas, who placed his trust in him. The venue is managed by Jeremy Pürro.

This is his first mandate to think and imagine the interior design of a public space.

The spectacular ceiling is entirely hand-painted, depicting an immense blue sky, with clouds, planes and, above each table, a stopover that takes you to your next destination.

And since we’ve all had a globe in our bedroom or classroom, Luna has created an Adventurers’ Corner, with a multitude of illuminated globes, arranged in a ribbon, blue like the planet, which immediately immerse visitors in the world of travel. On the shelves, within easy reach, travel guides to inspire you, and invite you to explore.

This sky on the ceiling is transformed into a starry night on the bar side, with the Milky Way, the Big Bear and the Little Bear seen from Switzerland, thanks to a multitude of LED lights.

Next to the bay windows, with a view over the Bulle countryside, a large stage plays with different levels, and is designed to host groups and events.

The fully open kitchen is deliberately visible from all sides. A deep dive into the work of Chef Elodie Beaud, and the local produce she prepares every day, LE GLOBE is a true invitation to travel. A place made unusual thanks to the creativity of Luna Ribes.
